Highlight Video

1. First I downloaded videos from YouTube. Then I used the upload button in Final Cut Pro to add the videos to it. Next I took my favorite parts of the videos and put them together in a compilation of my liking. I selected all of the and separated the audio and then disabled that audio. Then I added transition between the videos and at the end. Finally I downloaded music and uploaded that into my video. Then uploaded it to YouTube.

2. I choose this because I enjoy boy scouts. It is important to me because I get to meet new friends and have fun.

Website Hello World

In this project I had to create a website using Adobe Dreamweaver. I worked with this using code and design view. I also used css rules to create things like the white border around my picture. I learned how to use the css rules and I also learned what some of the tags mean in the coding. Something differently I would do is to do it quicker because I barely got done with this in time so next time I would not take my time as much. Something I would do the same is to follow the instructions exactly like i did.

Dream House

In this project I had to create a dream house that had to have detail by having things like an overhang. I was using Google sketch-up to create this house. Before I started the house I had to think of what it was kind of going to look like. When I started making it I just made a simple rectangular house shape then continued to push and pull until i got details like the roof. While I worked on this I learned that you have to make sure to pay attention to every side of the shape or else one side could end up just blank white. I also learned how to use Sketch-up because going into it I had very little idea how to use it but I knew what it was so that helped. Something I would do differently is give a little more detail to the backside of the house because it is just a boring brick material wall. Something I would do the same is my door and windows because I think that they look really nice. I will use this experience to help me in my next project because now I know what just a little bit of detail can do to something. I had fun with this project i enjoyed putting my own creative design in to something.

Keynote Animation

I used keynote to create all of the slides for this animation. Once I had the slides done I exported the slides to images then imported those images into imovie where I could then add sounds effects and make slides longer or shorter.

My First Animation

My animation is about a crane with a wrecking ball destroying a building and the building is sad about being destroyed but in the end he gets his revenge. I used the pen tool a lot which allows me to draw what I want and then i can align it along what I want using different points on  what I drew. I also used the interface on the right to fill in shapes with color and edit shadows and borders. Some things people like about mine were how I made my clouds and my story. Two things they said I could improve on is have my clouds moving more and have my building do more than just stand there.

My 4 Projects

In this project I took a photo of the front of our school and I had to add stuff in front of it using photoshop first I cropped it and resized it. I then took a picture of our compass and resized it as well. Then I made a new layer and put the compass on it I gave it less opacity and gave it a layer effect. I did about the same with the ONW but i made a new layer and typed the text in changing its size, font, and color. This was a pretty easy project and I didn't have any problems with it.

In this project I had to color the butterfly differently and make it look like it was moving its wings. I used the magic wand tool so that i could select the symmetrical sides of the butterfly and color them the same. I then used the clone stamp tool and turned the opacity lower so that I could copy the edge of the wings and clone the sam edge on the edge of the original but with the lower opacity it looks faded. The only problem I had was getting used to the clone stamp tool so I had to redo the clone stamp part several times.

In this project I had to create a mask for a photo of the front of our school. I had to crop the picture a bit before I could put the mask on. Once I cropped it I put a text mask on it saying NORTHWEST and resized the text so it fits the picture nicely. Then I selected the area around the text and used a gradient fill. Then I added a layer effect that made the white trim of the inside of the letters. The only problem I had with this project was that when you put the mask down you can't go back and change the text font, size, color or any of that.

In this project it is supposed to be like a collage so had to get rid of some of the things in the picture and then made different layers with different pictures and made a mask for them. I had to remove the light posts and cars by using the clone stamp and content aware fill. I then took other pictures and made separate layers for each of them. I gave them a mask so that they kind of faded into the original picture instead of just covering it up. The most challenging thing for me in this was removing the light posts but making sure that everything around it still looked correct.
